Gabriel,
from York England, blend the ingredients of rock, pop, reggae, blues
and folk into songs, which once tasted, provide sustenance for those
of all ages with an appetite for soul nutrition. Songs about loves
lost, misguided choices, regrets, perfection and kick ass in your
gut songs with extra chilli.
Gabriel first
opened to the public in 2000 when singer/songwriter Marc Atkinson
wrote and recorded their first album Ascension. As appetisers the

To date they have been well-received starters to the main courses
of Jools Holland, Paul Carrack, Caravan, Paul Brady, Damien Wilson
and Mostly Autumn, and Feasts have been served at festivals through
out the UK.
The current
line up are all cooking up a menu of new dishes, which are being
served at ongoing gigs. So who are Gabriel now?
Quite simply
Gabriel is a collection of very talented musicians who love to write
music together. Two of the guys have already won awards and TV shows
for their song writing talents, but it is as "Gabriel"
that the highs and lows of each song are best performed and enjoyed.
Gabriel love
to play live and attract new fans whenever they play. Some fans
have started their own website fanzines in support of Gabriel. What
greater compliment can a band have?
With fans purchasing
Gabriel's music online from countries as far a field as Japan, Korea,
Australia, Canada and the USA, their music crosses international
and language boundaries.
With new CD's
released yearly, independent reviews such as one for the "Feel
